USCG Certification

MERG is fully certified by the USCG to teach the following courses:

Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV),

100-Ton Master,

OUPV to Master Upgrade,

Towing Endorsement.

Each of these classes will be advertised and held in the Woodbridge Virginia area as enrollment continues.

USCG Certification

Inland Rules: When two power driven vessels are meeting head-on so as to involve risk of collision:

	each shall alter course to port
	each shall alter course to starboard
	each vessel shall stop until an agreement is made
	the up bound vessel shall have the right of way

	112.5 degrees and so fixed to show the light from the right ahead to 22.5 degrees abaft the beam on either side of the vessel.
