MERG has scheduled the winter OUPV course for February 6 - March 4., 2012 The dates are February 6, 8, 12, 13, 15, 19, 20, 22, 26, 27, 29 and March 4. Class times are Monday and Wednesday evenings 6PM - 10PM and Sundays 8AM - 5PM.

Class will be held at Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton VFD Station 12 located at 2170 Montgomery Avenue in Woodbridge VA. Course cost is $795 per person. All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of $100 to register for the class. The remaining $695 of the fee is due the first night of class.

MERG will be holding a USCG 100-Ton Masters upgrade course in March. Please check back in January for actual dates and costs.

The Potomac River Rescue Association will be scheduleing a NASBLA Basic Crew Member Course (BCM) this spring at Hampton's Landing Marina in Woodbridge VA. Class times will be 8AM - 5PM Monday - Friday. Course fee is $900 per person. Each organization must provide their own vessel and all associated costs for this course. Please check back next month for actual dates.
